The Space
Villa Cemara is located on the tranquil island of Nusa Ceningan, a short 30 minutes boat ride from fast-paced Bali. This villa comprises two ocean view bedroom, that open to the large open plan lounge, dining and kitchen area that in turn opens via folding windowed doors onto the top covered terrace which offers all day shade until the sun starts to set. Stairs lead below to the white terrace, similarly covered, from which steps lead down to the open pool deck area, infinity swimming pool and Bali Bengong.
The bedrooms are located three steps up from the ground floor with water views. Each bedroom has a king size bed, a wardrobe and an en-suite bathroom. For larger groups there is an option to rent a third double bedroom with ensuite located in the wooden hut at the rear of the property.

There is a third toilet that can be accessed from the lounge or pool area.
The open plan living room, kitchen & dining room overlooks the spectacular ocean views, with the lower terrace overlooking the infinity pool & further spectacular views. We invite you to enjoy a tranquil and natural side of Bali.
We see small native animals from time to time and the local swifts and swallows are famous together with the occasional kingfisher providing with wonderful morning bird song.

Away from the hustle and bustle of city life, traffic and noise. It is the perfect place to chill out absorbing the sun, enjoying the ever-changing view and serene atmosphere.
Adventure Start!
Hello Bali!
First thing first, get to Bali.
Whether you're from a different town in Indonesia or from overseas, book your flight to Ngurah Rai Denpasar Bali. From the airport or Bali hotel, you could take a taxi or online car service (download Grab or Gojek app) to Sanur Harbour. Another option is that we can help arrange for a driver to pick you up at your location with prior notice. Probably the most convenient way is to book a fast ferry ticket with Bali pick up from either the Bali hotel or airport. Book your transfer here.
Once you've booked online and arrive at Matahari Terbit Harbour make sure to check in at the relevant fast ferry kiosk and obtain a boarding pass, Lembongan island transfer sticker and baggage labels before you enter the ferry terminal building.

It's the beach!
After checking in and getting your ticket, you can wait for your designated boat to arrive at the waiting room at the Harbour, or you can explore Matahari Terbit Beach - 2 minutes walk away from the harbour where there are lot's of small restaurants and shops. There's also bike rental if you have a lot of time to spare and wanted to enjoy more time at the beach.
30 minutes boat ride and you will arrive at Nusa Lembongan Beach. From there, they will lead you to board a truck that will take you to the famous Yellow Bridge, that connects Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Ceningan. It is here that our villa manageress will meet you and assist you across the Yellow Bridge and on to Villa Cemara.
You can cross the Yellow Bridge by foot and we can arrange someone to pick you up from the other side of the bridge to our Villa, most people rented motorbike for easy commute around the island throughout their stay. The truck driver Pak Nova will be able to assist you with motorbike rental.

A short truck or motorbike ride from Yellow Bridge, then you will arrive at the charming Villa Cemara Nusa Ceningan, where you can relax with our nature-filled views all around from dawn to dusk. Enjoy a staycation at the Villa - chilling in the variety of lounging spaces, visits the local restaurants or enjoy activities all around the island.
The Real Bali Experience
Nusa Ceningan is a small island of some ±4km long and ±1km with the locals determined to keep it clean, safe and traditional. Villa Cemara is situated on a cul de sac off the main road - Jalan Nusa Ceningan. It is quite all day with no traffic. At night Villa Cemara offers lovely views to Nusa Lembongan and is reminiscent of a bay in the Croatian Adriatic islands. It is safe to walk or cycle, however motor bikes are the typical mode of transport here, as it is more convenient to go between places through out and between the island. One of our service providers - Pak Nova, has a fleet of motorbikes that he can assist you to rent. His house is 4 doors from the villa so picking up and dropping off the bikes is super easy. Inform us when you book your stay at Villa Cemara Nusa Ceningan and we gladly help with the arrangement.

Food Scene
Most of the restaurants and beach clubs are locally owned. Adjacent to our Villa is the Nusa Veranda sunset restaurant, that will provide your breakfast at their premises, during the hours of 8:00-10:00 AM. Within a short walk is Next Level cafe and Le Pirate restaurant. To the west are more beach clubs including the newly opened European styles Suku Beach Club, and the KLYF Club with stunning view of the Blue Lagoon perfect for a romantic dinner.
Activities
Although Villa Cemara is situated at the secluded small island of Nusa Ceningan, there's a variety of activities to choose. You can explore the Secret Point Beach and do rock fishing nearby. Catch the wave at Mahana Point (Surf Place) or go diving/snorkelling. Our guests benefit from a 5% discount on their dives and courses. Further afield is Nusa Lembongan with its long sandy Jungutbatu Beach the surf area of playgrounds, lacerations and ship wrecks. To the west there are a number of places to access the mangroves. Also don't miss out on a day trip to the popular Nusa Penida with it's instragramable spot and spectacular coastline.
Villa Cemara Perks
In addition to our great spaces and serene view, there are plenty of ways to enjoy your stay. Our lovely manageress is ready to assist you with anything and everything from booking trips & activities, arranging yoga sessions and massages, as well as keeping the Villa clean. There are two Balinese Pura’s (shrines) on site were offerings are made each morning, and the pool is maintained on a biweekly schedule.
